GITEX is the largest information and communication technology exhibition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia held in the Emirates of Dubai from 8th to 12th October 2017. We developed a Flip-Dots installation as the main exhibit of the DLD (Dubai Land Department) booth. At 6 meters in width & 2 meters in height, this was the largest Flip-Dots we’ve done. Shapes and images appeared on the wall in real time, using a camera connected to Kinect. The exhibition was featured in more than 50 local media outlets and our Flip-Dots installation was a hot topic at the event.
